Dear friends,
For all of us who know this verse, it’s refreshing to reflect on this hope.
I Thessalonians 4:16-17 “For the Lord HIMSELF will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we always be with the Lord.” Amazing!
Another week of prayer and faith in motion. Phone calls, emails, and decisions were made without physically getting together. The technology we have to carry out many decisions over many miles, states and continents is nothing short of amazing to me.
Without writing tons of unnecessary information, here is a short update from this week.
Our Chimane fellow who was in hiding has made a call to our radio technician to touch base on what we need and what he needs to do. The process is in motion, how long it takes is another matter. I just called down to Bolivia and bad weather is heading into the area. This time of year it doesn’t stay long but travel is not as much fun in rain and mud.
Prayer considerations:
1.There are at least four key players involved, they need wisdom, funds to help in traveling to various locations, and to agree on all contract renewals.
2. They need to decide when to travel to the city of La Paz where the paperwork is mostly done.
3. That a quick renewal would happen and that the fines can be paid – (I’m sure there are some of those)
4. Perhaps a temporary permission to operate the station while the final paperwork is being processed – that would be a huge blessing. (God could arrange that)
Thank you for the funds some of you have sent ahead to help with this transition. I have no idea what the bill will be as there are a lot of hidden costs.
We will keep you posted as we know more. Thank you for your continued prayers.
